Well, not much going on here today :) We got up and going this morning as Micah had an appt at 10:15 to get his stiches removed. Unfortunatley they didn't take them out yet. They were concerned that the scab was still to soft and would retear if they took them out so we have to go back on Wed.
I took a few cute pics from our Easter celebration at my moms this past weekend, but I use her camera right now for my pics (ours broke awhile back :( ) and I had to leave it at her house to charge. Maybe in the next day or two if I get a tad bit of down time I'll run down and get it to upload those for you all :)
Tommarrow is a BUSY day!! We have therapy at 8am, run by Mardels and get a few curriculum things that are on sale, come home and have our bible study group over at 9:45! Yikes!! They are here till about noon then we eat lunch and jump into school work ;) Then I have a chiropractor appt at 4pm and a homeschool meeting at 7pm ..........nothing like staying busy huh?!? LOL And who says homeschooling families just stay home all day!! LOL Wed isn't much better but at least the afternoon should be calm :) Well, I'm off to bed so I can get up early and finish straightening the house for bible study, BEFORE we leave for our appts.

Couponing!!
Sweet!! So I started learning how to coupon from some moms on my SAHM board.....well, not bad for just starting this a week ago. I went to the store today and here's what I got:
21 rolls bounty11
4-packs of charmin10
3-packs of zest soap
1 Crest toothpaste
1 VO5 conditoner
1 Dunken Hines cake
1 Dunken Hines frosting
2 Banquet dinners
5 totinos pizzas
TOTAL just over $14.00
SAVINGS: just over $83.00!!!!
How sweet is that!! I'm soooo excited about this :) And the cool thing was that after the kids had complained the other day about our trip to the store and my new coupon venture they were not in AWE about how much I'd gotten for just $14!!! Uh huh, NOW you know why we're couponing....... LOL
So, we went to the mall this a.m. so David and the kids could get my b-day present, then came home for naps (when I went to the groc so I wouldn't have to drag everyone along ;) then we got to go out to dinner at one of our favorite resturants, Osaka. (It's kinda like Shogun) So not bad for a birthday :) ........which is actually tom, but we're doing a late easter celebration with my extended family, so we celebrated it today :)

Plugging along ;)
Well, it's 1:30 and already we've had a busy day :) Just this last week I've started couponing so we started out bright and early this a.m. to the grocery store to get a few things that were on a 3 day special. This was AFTER David had gone for me at 6am this morning to try and get them but they hadn't stocked yet so there were only 3 out :(, which someone ahead of him had gotten! In any case, we made it there, got some and a few other items we had coupons for. All the while the kids were bombarding me with wants......... we've really been trying hard to explain to them the value of a budget so this provided yet ANOTHER opportunity to tell them how it affects our lives ;) You know the speech......"We have a certain amount of money, with that we have choices to make. We can CHOOSE to buy lots of snacky junk items, or we can CHOOSE to use that same money to go out to eat. It's all about choices and making the best ones we can with what we have." I know on some level all these talks are making it through to them a little at a time, by things they say. One day Brianna used a quarter in one of the candy machines and only got a couple pieces of candy and quickly realized that with the other machine she'd have gotten more. She then delcared to us "That wasn't a very good deal, next time I'll use the other machine!" LOL And Ethan is finally realizing the some things ARE worth saving for instead of just buying what you can afford NOW!! Well, sorry for that tangent ;)
In any case, school work is almost done and the sun is starting to peek out so I hope we can head outside to play for awhile.
Oh, and Micah is doing well, he's only picked at his stiches a few time, but not enough to break them or anything.
And Caleb, well he's fast asleep............
FYI: Micah had fallen on the concrete outside and hit his forehead. He ended up having to get 3 stiches but took them like a trooper!! Dr said he probably didn't even need the local! LOL

Here goes nothing!!
Ok, I've never been a writer, by ANY stretch of the imagination, but reading Charissa's blog and keeping up with their family from afar has kinda inspired me :) She's GREAT about writing in hers pretty much everyday, I KNOW I won't be that good, but I'm gonna give this a shot anyway ;) LOL
